I really want to be able to batch remove photos from the auto sync set. I understand why it defaults to Private, but it would be nice to have the option to set the default to Public if I want. So I had to go in and change the permissions for each photo as well if I wanted it to be Public. But at least there is a way!Īs a side note, I also just realized that anytime something uploads to the Auto Sync set, it is automatically set as Private (there is no other option). You can only do this one photo at a time, which makes it cumbersome if you have a lot to do. If you go into the app and click on your Sets, choose Auto Sync set, then you can click on the photo, click the Info button on the top right, click Edit, click on Sets, and then uncheck the Auto Sync set. I just found today that you can delete photos from the Auto Sync set individually through the Flickr App. You can delete the photo from your photostream, but that doesn't help if you want to keep the photo in a different set and just remove it from the Auto Sync set.

It seemed like when the set was called "Auto Upload", you could at least go into the settings for each individual picture and remove it from the Auto Upload set from there.īut I think there has been a recent update to Flickr that has changed the name of that set to "Auto Sync" and has removed the option to delete the photo from that set.
